Some of you might welcome a more edgy recording like this one! This is a mostly instrumental dub/reggae recording inspired by George Clinton, Bob Marley and Bruce Lee.
We mixed this recording 20 years ago at OTR Studios (now Blue Coast Studios) with Eric Ware and Anthony (Butthouse) Chaba who had a band called Ben Wa. Brain and Buckethead were featured members of the band. It's been one of the all time favorites. We often used the record to "open up" new gear and headphones for the studio by repeated plays.
The SEA process (Systems for Exceptional Audio) was used to master and enriched the dynamics, frequencies and image while making it now available in DSD256
