#146 - You know it's time for coffee when......

We're experiencing historical rain and suddenly there's a break.  The sun is shining right now so you know what that means?

Yes!  A drive to Half Moon Bay, Peets coffee and a walk on Miramar Beach.  The waves were splashing over the cliff and the plants squashed infront of homes.  Must have been frightening for the homeowners.  Here are the live cameras from the Miramar Beach Restaurant.  Maybe you'll see me walking there on a sunny day.  :)  At the moment, they're

These are live cameras from Pacifica, about 5 miles north.  These often have spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset.  Today, it's a cleanup crew....  tonight, who know...

This camera was hit hard, but you can see the water that had flooded the houses and streets nearby.  The other day, it was sold water on the streets.

We have another 1.5-2" inches coming Saturday and maybe Monday or so.  I'm drying and replacing the wet towels.  We were able to contain most of the leaking in the studio and no equipment was harmed.  Water started coming in through under the doors and walls but not too bad.  I'm drying towels now to replace the ones that we put down.

I'll be sending out a NEW newsletter next week.  it's probably not for everyone and will be on a separate account.  Unlike my daily trials and tribulations here on Cookie's Corner, I'm going to be doing more long form education & writing on recording, mixing and mastering.   Eventually, we'll be offering workshops for paid subscribers and other podcasts along with new tests that we'll share with you real-time.  Community participation, direct questions answered, reviews on gear and music will be there.
