The pandemic has change how we live life. Not for just a few but for the entire world. It's hard to imagine how the world can come to a stop. Work stops, meeting friends doesn't exist, your favorite restaurant isn't open to sit for a meal, we're scrambling for toilet paper and unbleached white flour. How has life changed for you?
We have a google form for you to fill out and think how life has changed. We want to know how our music lovers are being affected for better or worse. I plan to compile the most interesting answers into a post. Click on the link below to answer the questions.
How has life changed for you?
We've stepped up our SEA DSD remastering and have taken on new submissions from artists and stepped up communicating with music lovers through our newsletters. Many companies are offering sales on computers and other devices as sales slow. We've upgraded our mobile phones and computer systems taking advantage of these great prices.
I've been going to the ACE Hardware for gardening tools and kitchen utensils as we found ourselves making coffee at home, baking bread and spending more time with our fruits and vegetable garden.
Since we can't have artists come to the studio, we've setup the synthesizers in the control room and (yes), I'm composing again on the piano and keyboards.
I don't know what the future holds, but we're doubling down on DSD music for the time being and tryng to figure out if we can 'socially distance' ourselves to do more recording -- even if it's solo piano or guitar. :)
Stay well, be positive and we appreciate your support!
