Trying to use your credit card and guest checkout not working?

 

We understand that many of you don't want to open a PayPal account in order to use your credit card.  We're investigating new non-PayPal payment gateways but it's not be as easy as we had hoped due to recent changes for everyone's protection.   One trick we've found that works for many people is Adding your ADDRESS in our website.
 
We have found recent fraud protection methods have changed our website's "checkout as a guest".   If you add your address to both BILLING and SHIPPING we have found this allows a guest checkout and avoids PayPal.
 
These requirements have been put into place in order to make sure you're a real person and not a robot or are using a stolen credit card.
 
If adding your address doesn't work, we have a few other methods.
 
1) Make a screenshot of your shopping cart adding in discounts and showing the albums you want to purchase (and format).  Send it to support@bluecoastmusic.com.  We can issue an invoice (through Square so you can use any credit card without PayPal).  Once you've paid we can manually put the albums in your account.
 
2) Music Gift Certificate - we are experimenting with issuing a coupon code with a prepaid value in amounts like $50, $100 and $200.  We would invoice you through Square, then send you the code.  When the code is applied to your shopping cart at the end, it deducts and the balance left can be used on your next purchase.  If you forget the code or need a reminder on your balance you can always write to us.  There are also ways that you can access that information without us.  By the way, the code can be applied after all the discounts have been added in.
 
If you want our music, we will find a way to get it to you!
 
Meanwhile, we are looking for alternate methods of a payment gateway.  It's not as easy as we'd like, but we will continue to pursue this.
