Recorded live in the studio December 13, 2017, just in time for the holidays! John R. Burr is no stranger to the recording studio or live performances. He stopped by to talk with us about his upcoming solo piano record and we asked him to play a few holiday classics. The first song, "Christmas Lullaby", was written by John R. and debuted on one of Windham Hill's holiday samplers. We loved it and asked for a live performance. He followed with a somber "The First Noel". Then came the an explosive New Orleans version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town".
