Julian is a singer-songwriter and a confident musician who knows how to navigate the complex moods of love and connection.
Footprints in the Sand wryly explores a lover who’s cast a spell, several miles out of town, no one around, beating heart the only sound. I could swear you’re an angel but there are footprints in the sand. Piano harmony and confident arpeggio chords sustain the mood and keep this story moving along.
Oliver Circle picking on acoustic guitar creates steady movement for an unsteady relationship. Oliver, a pet, is witness to a relationship that’s in trouble. Was it pride, was it fear, was it hoping you would hear, was it hoping you wouldn’t look away? If only that were yesterday. It’s a lovely reprise of a difficult episode.
