Julian is a singer-songwriter and a confident musician who knows how to navigate the complex moods of love and connection.
"Footprints in the Sand" wryly explores a lover who’s cast a spell, several miles out of town, no one around, beating heart the only sound. I could swear you’re an angel but there are footprints in the sand. Piano harmony and confident arpeggio chords sustain the mood and keep this story moving along.
"Oliver" - Circle picking on acoustic guitar creates steady movement for an unsteady relationship. Oliver, a pet, is witness to a relationship that’s in trouble. Was it pride, was it fear, was it hoping you would hear, was it hoping you wouldn’t look away? If only that were yesterday. It’s a lovely reprise of a difficult episode.
